I don't understand. Why do you need PH up? Is it because of the RO water? Does the Mantis not buffer to projected and acceptable levels on it's own? Perplexing ..... Please advise. Thanks.

Whitebear gave me some advice he also uses ro water
My tap water here in the uk is 546ppm shocking
It seem s to work last time ph up from 5.0 to 5.6
It then drifted up to 6.1 and stable

Thanks. It seem that with Mantis "Patience" is the nutrient of the day (or two) in regards to time needed for buffer to take effect. I'm currently using Mantis with no additives at all. My plants are loving it and the root zone is blowing my mind. I have only nine plants currently in my Producer and a solid root mass covering the entire reservoir. (kind of like a solid brick of roots). I have concerns about future grows with a full 18 plant crop and the roots thereof. Just as there is a learning curve for use of our boxes in general, dialing in the time frame for Mantis to buffer in each of our individual grow environments is also pertinent. In my experience so far with Mantis, it seems that as long as I have all temps dialed in (reservoir, box grow chamber and grow room) no additives are required. (FYI ... I use tap water.) Mantis is slow to buffer, but it will get there. PH fluctuation will cause leaves to appear as though you need Cal-Mag but as you learn about and become one with Mantis that fluctuation will diminish and as a result the discoloration of leaves will subside in kind. I am adding buffered Mantis weekly as needed based on water level. I have not done any reservoir changes or flushing of any kind. So far I have not noticed any salt or nutrient build ups. No nutrient lock out or burnt leaf tips cause by nutrient build up. The product is working as advertised. My experience thus far is positive and look forward with a glad heart as I continue with my maiden grow with Mantis. Two words people ... Game changer!! Peace and Love.

nice and healthy looking. sweet. here are mine at the start of week 7 ....

Defoliation is key in flower to ensure bud growth vs unnecessary growth of fan leaves. Direct all plant's energy to the buds. It is also a blessing come harvest time. The way these buds develop and ripen in the next 2 weeks or so will determine if I continue to use Mantis. I'm expecting and pray for some beautiful results. I'm rooting for Mantis. It's been so less stressful not dealing with multiple bottles of nutrients or reservoir changes. Now I literally can harvest each plant separately as they reach their individual full potential without flushing at all. Mind Blown!! šŸ¤Æ Bottom line, if this bud puts me on my ass, I'll be using Mantis going forward.

They look great
Yes, looking good. I think they're happy. I reduced the amount of Mantis a bit. I put 50ml per 3 gallons of water. Not much of a reduction but I felt the "soup" was a bit hot on recommended dosage. Now I want to see the trichomes swell and give me that nice snow look for a Christmas harvest. lol. I really do love this. God bless all of you. Remember, this is fun. Peace and Love. (Oh, FYI, one bottle of Mantis only lasted through week 3 of flower in my Producer. So if using a Producer, have two bottles on hand),

Totally agree I've done the same gone on the light side found the plants like it around 480 ppm
So far I've used
Bloombox
310mls of mantis 2 wks veg 2 wks flower šŸŒ¼
I'll keep record how much I use through the grow
Now in flower I top up twice a wk with 9ltrs so it looks like 80mls to 90mls a wk āœŒ
It's all a guide line I think the biggest factor is what type of water you use ro ,spring ,tap water ect like me iam ro and I add ph up 2.5 mls per 9ltrs after I've added mantis
Thxs to whitebear suggestion of add ph up it works a treat
it so easy I miss my Sundays now emptying tank ,cleaning tank, mixing all the nutrients ,filling tank ect
Tell the truth its boring now lol which is a good thing gives me more time too finish my old shovelhead chop
happy growing
